    RS CD Player

    Hoping for some help here.
Over night the CD player in my RS wagon seems to be RS.
Radio works fine but when I push the media button nothing.
Just the "searching" screen. If I try to eject any of the discs nothing happens, although I think it is the first disc as that would have been the last one playing.
Maybe this disc is somehow jammed ?
Anybody got any clues on what to do or try ?

Sounds like it can't read the disk. Does this when its accessing the SD card and long lockups if you haven't got the media formats right. Though you can press Radio in that case to get out of it.

Is there a pinhole in the console to force eject disks? Sorry, I haven't looked, but thats how you can sometimes get them out.

Same here. If there is no pinhole that you can use a paper clip in to manually eject it may well be a case of take it back to the dealer and test the warranty procedures.

When they get stuck in the 6 disc stackers you are in an expensive mess, luckily in the last 3 cars I have owned with those, I've never had issues.

Haha - yeah thats a good point - its a stacker so it could be trying to load the disk. I imagine if it does have a pin to eject the disk, it'd eject the disk thats loaded.

Also, try holding down the eject button. Usual override for most devices when they go haywire.
