    Reversing LED (CREE)

This is the T20 reversing LED CREE bulb for Golf 118's... I found out today it is different to the T15 reversing bulb used in the R tails (glass bulb on the left).

And it looks like this when working...

GregoInc - our Octavia's use a P21 bulb rather than those litte T15/T20 fellas

I've done that tonight also - the car does not appear to test/check the indicator bulbs
While my LED blinkers are much brighter than the bulbs, they turn off/on instantly
The bulbs glow on/off giving more light duration
But the thing is, the LED's are more visible in the day time

Our P21 LED's (see previous photos) have multiple CREE's which are at least twice as bright as the original bulbs

They don't generate errors when you turn the car on (the previous set generated errors immediately)
However they do generate errors when you use them, so when I engage reverse a light bulb failure appears on my dash and in the MFD
So after a few days, the warning about the right reversing light no longer appears
So I removed the left one, cleaned it, fiddled with the fitting, put it all back together, and now that one does not create a bulb failure warning either
I can't understand what has changed but I'm happy - and won't touch it again!

Is there any way we can combine all this LED info as I've spent the morning looking for the thread regarding the DRL's (I know I've read it here somewhere). There is buckets of good advise and experience here just the search function is struggling with "LED"
