Retrofit iPod to bolero stereo

Anyone done this? My wagon doesn't have MDI..... Is there a cheats way to get it?

I'd say I'll be changing head units mid year so I'm just looking for a temporary fix!

1. Use the Aux connector in the centre console.
2. Fit a MDI
3. Fit a Kruftec Bluetooth connector and stream music using AD2P if the iPod had Bluetooth
4. Buy a 32GB SD card and dump all the mp3 on that and just fit that into the Bolero slot and don't worry about the iPod.

I have the kufatec..... And I wouldn't recommend it for a2dp..... It's terrible...

Mine seems to be missing the aux input too...... So where do we get an mdi kit from? Is it expensive?

I didn't make any recommendations I simply gave you a list of options.

The Aux in socket is in the bottom of the storage space under the lift up armrest.

My aux plug isn't in the bottom of the storage bin, its on the raised section where the handle for the air con duct is.

I'll take a picture tomorrow if I remember.
