You can get after market rear stand-alone system done for under $200 if you want a comparison.
For front you might want to consider if you want for swinging in parallel parking or nudging forward.
IE front + rear system often have rear over-ride if both are triggered.

I paid less than $40 for an aftermarket reverse sensor kit and because my car was white, the sensors were a perfect match! No different to the factory fitted other than the visual display stuck on the dash (but a very neat finish) and I left the audible beeper in the rear of the car.
Point being an aftermarket kit can be purchased very cheap if that is the way you want to go.

I have actually beem listening to the audible signal for the reversing sensors on my vRS and it seems to be coming from low on the B pillar on the passengers side. It's definitely not coming through the speakers. Has anybody traced exactly where the speaker for the reversing beeps is?
