    Rattles on MY15 RS

Finally bought a RS after many years of considering one although had question about certain rattles that have become apparent, only done 200kms so far.

Two rattles wondering if hey are both connected to the sound generator or whether anyone had other experiences with engine hardware failing?

The first rattle happened from the first 50 kms and came from driver door just below window sill or around seatbelt adjust (it's hard to tell). It is like a high frequency buzz where is acceleration or deceleration between 5kms and 50kms, it seems to go once you pick up speed. Very annoying as its in my ear level almost. I originally thought it was related to tint guy taking off doors trim but then I read some ppl experience same noise.

The second is more worrying but seems to be coming from same area as sound unit. It sounds more mechanical like I thought did they leave the suspension blocks on or is there a tool clanking around. It was from the driver firewall but particularY towards pedals. Not loud but can be heard if radio and AC are low - will take it to dealer but hoping on experiences or opinions. Happens on acceleration and decelration they same way, stops when the car stops moving, making me think it's probably not sound unit related but few ppl on briskoda seemed to raise those issues.

Will call dealership on Monday but bad time to get things booked in so hoping for any constructive info whatsoever.

Shouldn't be anything major. Yes the Dealer is the best bet.

Regarding rattle that appear to come from the driver's door, could be the fuel line. I mentioned this to the dealer and they fixed it. Another possibility is the seatbelt adjustment point. Try holding the sliding part when its making the noise to see if it alleviate the problem.

UPDATE: Took it to the dealer for 1000km inspection, on the way there the mechanical rattle was non-existent (my bloody luck!). Got it back and they said the cause was air con hose which rattles against the chassis and that creates both the mechanical clunking and buzzing rattle from the door. Apparently there is a Skoda TPI about this issue and can cause rattles in various places.

After 2 mins leaving the dealer the sounds in engine bay footwell area started but the buzzing door sound has improved about 60-70% and lasting much shorter time when it does happen. I have a feeling the hotter it gets outside he more sound from the engine bay, it kind of made sense cos I didn't hear it in morning or on the way there when AC was off but not sure if thats connected or coincidence. When Peeth was 45 degrees the sound was louder.

Back to the dealer and a 50km drive on other side of town, I love the car but not happy with the service and stupid annoying rattles.
