hey all... im wondering if anyone has experienced this as yet??
I have a few times left the car sitting outside at the Airport in a long stay carpark and have then hopped in the car after its been sitting for a few days and drove to the nearest fuel station to fill up and found i cant open the fuel lid?? Took it to the dealer twice and they cant find a fault with it even though they saw it in action being a little S%&T.. lol
Thus far im up to 18,000k on the Octy RS wagon and this is the only thing i have had a problem with.
How can the dealer say they can't find a fault with it when they saw it in action !!!! They might admit they don't know what is wrong or how to fix it, but they can't say it doesn't have a fault. Tell them to just replace the locking actuator and see if that fixes it.
Haven't noticed it on mine, but have only filled up once so far - my RS has a puny 600Km, as I do most of my driving in my van eg 1,900Km last weekend alone. But I am impressed with your 18,000Km, how long have you had yours now ?
Does the releasing problem seem temperature related (ie only on frosty mornings) ?
