What sort of money are we taking?

Basically want my RS to sound like a GTI without hurting performance . What do I need to get?

Have a look through the various GolfR / MKV / MK6 CAI posts - plenty of info there.

I can't see how a GTI could sound different as they have the same induction system - possibly the GTI has an artificial noise maker which many people remove as it's naff.

The Octavia and GTI sound different due to the exhaust - not the inlet

The APR inlet comes in 2 stages, $600 and $500, complete waste of money imo

an aftermarket CAI on the mk2 (tsi) ea888 engines does not produce any gains - according to the APR tuner/mechanic i've been dealing with.
even running on stg 2+, there is no added benefit.

on the older tfsi bwa engines, there were some gains with an aftermarket CAI.

i don't know wat its like with newer gen3 ea888 engines found in the mqb generation.
