There were several versions. Ours failed at 50k and 6 yrs old but was replaced with a later version. Should be fine after that.
Octavia RS 2.0 tfsi. Has anyone installed a PCV alteration/replacement or removal altogether? Log book has mine replaced at 79k kms due to failure. There are several products out there to eliminate the associated issues on this engine. Curious what people have implemented and their results. Or is a catch can the way to go? Not going to mod save for maybe modifying the air intake just to get rid of the engine cover. Looking to keep this car for some time and want to nip any issues in the bud. Thanks

We carry the Integrated Engineering PCV Solution kits. It basically removes the valve that is prone to failure and converts the system into a vacuum only arrangement which is completely isolated from manifold pressure. Works well.
