Ouch my Octavia got hit!! Argghhhh!!!!

Bloody limo/taxi driver hit my rear trying (emphasise on trying) to reverse park. Not only did he hit it reversing he hit it again moving forward then again when trying to escape the scene!

I came running (no one in my car so no injuries) as did 2 Australian Federal Policemen when he then tried to claim that he didn't hit my car. The AFP kindly made the point he saw the incident and that my car is not silver like his which he left on my bumper. The AFP then gave their details and took photos!

Later on I rang him to clarify his address and he again stated that although he hit my car he didn't cause the damage. I told him my car was new and not to muck me around when I had 2 AFP officers as witnesses.

Have made a claim through my insurance, next stop panel beaters........ This is so annoying as am away for 10days in HK and my wife doesn't drive.

Oh nearly forgot to mention the clown had front sensors!

Know the feeling , judge backed his tow bar into my rear in our car park, said his sensors on his govt calais must be faulty , pierced rear bumper , $1200 , luckily no panel damage ,all covered by insurance

New bumper was in adelaide in 4 days , two to paint , then half day to fit , all round corner from work .

Next some loon , smacked my left mirror in dan murphies , maybe i drink too much, broke mirror and and the casing , so not a whole new mirror which is $1000.

Parts arrived pretty quick , they painted casing called me in , and guess what , oh the casing is for RH mirror , got the LH glass , sorry we will get another from sydney .

Week later its done $450 , not worth the drama of claiming with a $250 excess .

My Octavia RS was hit yesterday outside work. A bloke came out of work, walked straight past my car, then got into his patrol and reversed straight into the Skoda.

70cm odd concave dent in the right guard up near the rear hatch.

Looks expensive! Fortunately he was insured and left a note.

They are all jealous of our wonderful cars, so they deliberately run into them to damage them.

Mine was a victim of "unintended acceleration" in a car park last year - dozy driver mounted the car in front of her, then fell off it onto mine. Police were called and all.

I saw a silver RS sedan in Perth city last year that basically didn't have a left flank, was seriously shredded starting from the left front wheel, ending at the left rear. I winced, was painful to see, along with the thoughts, how the hell.....?

ok I am now back from OS any suggestions for repairer in West/CBD area? I went to a local repairer and he thought I had a SAAB!!!!
