I don't have to take it to him, I can take it to any authorised opticoat authorised dealer. I will choose this fellow because I am very impressed with him. Others I think charge anywhere from $45 for just an inspection but he offers for a complete service for $99 which I think is a bargain after seeing the job he has done.

No snake oil with Opticoat, just cold hard evidence and plenty of satisfied customers on this forum.. and around the world.

People just need to do their homework on who does it, and how much they get charged.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, if anyone is unsure of the quality and longevity of a paint protection product the only way to go is Permagard full stop Permagard: A Permanent Protection Solution for Aviation, Automotive and Marine Markets

All the commercial air lines in Australia only use it as well as a recent deal between Australian Porsche and Audi dealerships. This stuff survives stratospheric conditions so I think it's going to last on your car

This is a public forum of which I am a member, I am entitled to an opinion and to express it. When "opticoat" comes as a factory backed feature on a S Class Merc. I ll re-access its merits.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not bagging the product, more their claim of a lifetime warranty!!! If someone offers me a lifetime warranty I'd expect it to last a lifetime and not have to pay someone each year to inspect the product with a lifetime warranty and then pay them more money to fix up the product that supposedly has a lifetime warranty. That isn't a lifetime warranty IMO. It's a 12 mth warranty with ongoing repairs and maintenance after that to extend the life of the product a further 12 mths.
