Here you go. About 5 mins from the Bexley Road exit of the M5. Albert is a legend in the inner south west of Sydney. He, and his crew do glass and tinting for cars and trucks for a chunk less than the big names in the business, and the quality of the materials and work is evidenced by the fact that he's been trading in the same place with the same name for over 30 years. Albert is still very much hands on, but if one of his crew does the job Albert will check it before he says it's OK for the vehicle to leave the shop. He guarantees the workmanship, and backs it with a warranty. The better films also carry their own warranty. To do my RS wagon with the Johnson Insultir film was $300 in May last year.

Bugger me that is an amazing price for that quality film. And yes, it's the smaller guys who actually own the business that do the best quality work. Wish I could drive to Sydney to get my windows tinted here!!

No, I don't. I'll try to get something here for you later today, or tomorrow morning.

OK, so I know I'm not going to win a Pullitzer for the results my photographic skills, but here are some pics showing the tinting. They were all taken in full sun at the middle of the day.

I threw in one of the sunshade too. They're not cheap. I think the shipping was about the same as the shade, making it around US$65, but in my view it is worth it. I got it from Heatshield, a company in the US that originally made sunshades for aircraft, and now do cars. The material used is much better than anything you'll find in auto shops, can be custom fitted, and you won't find an easier shade to put up, and take down. They were going to send me a pattern kit for me to cut and return to them as a template, but I opted for the Golf VI size. Mrs. BS has one for her Golf VI, and hers fitted good enough in my Octy that I didn't see any need to bother with the pattern kit.

The thing that impresses me most in the photos, your wheels have been cleaned on the inside as well

I thought I was the only saddo that did that!
