    Octavia vRS.....now 230Hp/169kW

    Just as I have 2 dealers and a car broker on the hunt, I see this;

    Skoda Octavia vRS 230 | PistonHeads

    Does that mean the 162kW no longer will be built? MY15.5 Spec? Hmmmm......

    Think it is just another variant. See Golf GTI Performance edition. Same deal. Main change is a real LSD plus on the golf bigger brakes that the VRS already has.

    I doubt we will see the GTI Performance spec in the RS just yet. It may get offered later in the model cycle as part of a mid-model "update" or towards the end of the model cycle to try and keep sales going.

    Though it would be a good thing to have the tricky diff and a few extra kilowasps.

    As benmac already stated, the RS already comes standard with the bigger brakes found in the gti performance pack.
    with this 230 special edition version, which add the tricky diff and extra killer wasps - ur pretty much there.

    I'm pretty sure the article was about a UK spec car.

    Yes but you'd need to order it now to see it before the next all new model is released.

    As per the feedback from SkodaAUS...."not yet as it's hard enough to get hold of a standard vRS!"

    Only the front bigger brakes from the PP, not the rears
