Not quite sure where you get this info from. There's that weird 4x4 / RS graphic in the Combi (Eurospeek for wagon) section but nothing concrete

AWD has always been available as an option overseas (was available here too with pre-FL models) with the non-Scout Combi Octavia.

I think AWD takes the edge off the sportiness.

I got it from that graphic you saw on the Octavia combi page. (Though didn't know a combi was a wagon, so probably a misinterpretation.)

I think you are seeing what you want to see.

Prepare to be disappointed - especially in low-volume AUS.

Doesn't mean you can't build your own. There's a guy over at BriSkoda that is putting an old 5v 1.8t Mk1 TT AWD drivetrain into a CitiGo. He calls it a CitiGo-go

There is obviously a AWD Combi (Wagon) in the range for use in countries where winter snow and ice is prevalent but as mentioned it was dropped in Australia when the FL came out in late 2009. I would be surprised if it came back here I think it's more likely that Skoda Aus would wait for a Scout version with slightly increased ground clearance and underbody protection which is far more suitable for Australian dirt roads.

Not just the fact that they're LED's, but the fibre optic effect as well.
Camry's and Yaris' have LED tail lights but they don't look that good or even the same.
