You should see Richmond SKoda/Audi here, they made a big Audi showroom, but the garage is tiny. The back part of Skoda was also supposed to be a workshop but for the most part they store stuff in there. I do have a vague recollection recently of seeing a car on a hoist there now though.

It's always been the way with dealerships. Sales first, Service second.

I remember the old pub fondly. The new one doesn't have a true pub atmosphere, but then I've yet to see a "tavern" that does. The food's good though.

And I fully agree with the brothel's argument that kebab shop attracts undesirables. Obnoxious inebriates tend to descend on kebab shops near pubs at closing time like like flies on a dog turd. I imagine that having prospective punters of the brothel having to run the gauntlet of drunks waiting for their orders wouldn't be great for business.

Drunks, brothels, crap take-away food. Nothing much ever changes in Sydney, eh?

Dealer quote for 60k is 1200, independent (Canberra VW Centre) is $480. Guess who I'm going to go to.

When you guys are throwing quotes around, it's probably not a bad idea to mention what was done.

There's a big difference in price between a 60K on a TSI DSG and a 60K on a TDI manual.

Allan Mackay is killing MVMG for pricing. I'm surprised I don't see more VWs in their parking lot!

And their customer service is the best I've ever experienced.

As for configurations, I think I can see why the TDI costs just that little bit more initially

    +1
the 60k includes a DSG service, hence the hefty price tag.
i'm 10,000kms shy of that mark - i'll start crying then!!
