    Best resale would be DSG and Silver (safe metallic). Wagons would be more desirable as there really isn't much in that market that competes with it. Only add other options if you really want them.

    I personally don't see diesel as a benefit in that sized car as the petrol model is quite economical (and it can use 95RON) unless you do big kms. And during a 2-3yr lease you probably wouldn't

    Thanks for all the advice, I went down to Peninsula Skoda today to see where I am at with the trade price on my Falcon. I am doing 30,000+ k's a year and would move it at 2 year period. See what happens I suppose, wait for trade value then bash them around on there somewhat underwelming Corporate + pricing.

    Personally from experience and after a lot of heartache, options are only good if you decide to keep the car till you run it to the ground or planning to sell privately. On a trade in it's worth nothing cause they base the value of your car on a non optioned cheap wholesale price that is pretty much always going to be several thousand below lowest trade in red book value. Another major thing is to go dsg and not manual since these days 4 out of 5 cars sold are automatics so buying a manual would further limit yiur chances of selling or getting a decent trade in since they will give you the same reasoning as i have stated above. So best bet if you're selling well within 3years is to go for a dsg model in a sensible and common colour like silver without options in order minimize depreciation losses and sell it quickly.
