Ok, so I'm getting soft as I age, I'm going to take the Octavia backwards a notch
The VWR springs are very firm, they are excellent for entusiastic cornering
When I'm in the mood I love the firm ride!
When I'm tired and in rush hour traffic (no fun) putting up with Sydney roads, the firmness is a bit too much for me
I phoned Eibach and talked to them about the car and what I was looking for
I want good handing but don't want it to feel like a go kart and some comfort
(They didn't want to hear about taking the car to the track)
They explained to me that if you bought a BMW and optioned it with the MTech sport suspension,
that's the same as what I'm getting with the Eibach B12 kit (springs and shocks), Sounds good to me!
This is likely to be a 30mm or 40mm ride height drop (more than I prefer but should be ok)
It's getting installed on Friday
(Anybody want my VWR springs?)
