I don't know who sells it in OZ, but from what I understand the VCDS cable is the dongle and the software from Rosstech is freely downloadable from their website. Someone with VCDS will be able to confirm.

I couldn't justify the cost of the Rosstech VCDS, even when we were at parity, so i have the OBD11.

    Hey Smart1, Cheers for that.
Will be next year when new stock comes in.

    Hey guys,

Just picked up my MY16 Octavia RS162TSI wagon on Saturday. Looking to remove the "Octavia" and "Skoda" badges on the rear hatch. I assume these can be removed without leaving holes that will require filling?

    Welcome to the Skoda family!

Just use a hair dryer and patiently remove the badges once the glue gets soft.

    Thanks venom.

Loving the car so far. It's my daily, so I won't get carried away with mods, but looking to also drop in some Eibach Pro Kit springs, a tune of some sort, and maybe change up the exhaust a bit to make it sound a bit angrier.

Dental floss helps too, once hot and soft. Just get it under a edge.

As far as mods go that's very mild for me. I have an MX5 SE as a weekend fun/track car that I will do a bit more too

    New Skoda Octavia vRS announced

    Highlights are:
    - DDC (Dynamic Chassis Control system)
    - a 15mm lower ride height
    - Rear track that's 30mm wider than the previous car's.
    - XDS+ system (230 has a VAQ diff)
"Speaking of differentials, there’s no mention of VW’s clever ‘VAQ’ electronically-controlled physical differential which was briefly available in the vRS 230, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it make an appearance at a later stage."
    - 227 bhp
    - Fully adaptive LED headlights
    - Driver aid systems include trailer assist, blind spot detect and rear traffic alert
