You have to replace the entire headunit. It's a completely different one. For what it's worth I find Apple carplay pretty crap. Bit annoyed I waited and paid more in the end to get a car with it as it's not as good as it should be.

ACC errors
Hi, does anyone else get the occasional ACC error? It's happened to me about 3x since getting my car in April, I'll be driving and having used the Adaptive Cruise Control and go to set it again and it's disabled with ACC error in the colour display between the speedo and tacho, also saying that there are no front sensors or something to that effect. I've found if I turn ACC off completely and wait a few seconds then turn it on again it usually works but today I had to do that 3x before it worked again.
There's nothing comes up in the car status page, mind you I've only checked once the error has been cleared.
Cheers,
Karl

Pick up my RS wagon tomorrow.... one more sleep to go!
Can't wait!!!
I'm going to have a lot of time spent reading manuals and fiddling with settings and taking suggestions from these forums.
One thing I need to ask though - when setting up the individual characteristics in the drive mode settings, what practical purpose is there for being able to change the DSG settings?
I assume it's just shift-speed that is adjustable, but why would anyone want to make gear shifts slower than the quickest available setting?
Do fast gear change settings give extra wear on the clutches?
Reduced gearbox life with faster shifts? Or just harsher? People reduce the setting for comfort?
Sorry if this has been covered before/elsewhere but in 90+ pages of reading this thread in the last 2 days, I don't remember seeing anything about it.
Does the RS come with a TPMS sensor inside the wheel rim at the valve?
Or is the TPMS an indirect system via the ABS unit.
Looking at buying a internal TPMS system, but if the rim has a TPMS Sensor then obviously I need to get an external one or some how display the values on the dash.
Cheers
Also like to know where is best to get service in Brisbane that won't affect warranty?
I've purchased from sunny coast but live in Brisbane so I'm not keen to drive 2 hours each way just to get servicing done.
What's Skoda in Albion like? Is that my only option, or are there any VW specialists that would be better/cheaper without affecting warranty?
I serviced mine at the Brisbane Prestige. It's ok, get the job done. From my understanding, as long as it meets the logbook it shouldn't affect the warranty, regardless of the service location. I chose to get it done at the dealer as a goodwill in case of warranty claim.
