    Lights staying on during day

I've noticed that during this Winter my auto headlights are remaining on during much of the day. Have cleaned the screen. Is it because of the lower winter sun or is it a sign of a problem? Anyone else getting the same issue?

Ditto, just thought it was because of the less hours of sunlight and lower sun in the sky.

Well thats some consolation anyway. Unless we all have defective cars. I started to wonder when I saw an Octavia on the other side of the road with its headlights off while mine were on. I guess it all depends on the angle of the sun.

They might've just had them switched off... I usually keep my headlights in the 'off' position, until I need them on of course! The reason being, I don't want the lights coming on in the garage at startup and then switch off again a few seconds afterwards when I drive out. I prefer to minimise the power on/off cycles of the HID headlights (an old school belief maybe).

I think this helped to kill my Passat's HIDs which was a process to source parts / change - it can't be beneficial!

Sounds like the coming/leaving home assist - you could turn that option off to avoid that behavior and then leave the lights on auto

    Hey guys,
Will an mk7 Golf R Front Mount Intercooler fit in the cavity / behind the crash bar of the Octavia RS?
I feel like it will, jut want to know for sure, before I go seeking one.

Seems like Skoda NZ have had their RS230's for a few weeks, I rang the dealer this morning.

DSG only, but can option - Dynamic Chassis Control with ‘Driving Mode Select‘.

Hoping Skoda Au have some info soon.
Anyone else heard any news on the RS230?
