Dealer supplied is a waste of time.

Get Care Care Products in Five Dock to do the interior / exterior protection. It will be slightly cheaper but much higher quality & longer lasting. They can probably hook you up with tint.

If not: Rob Salvia at Hunters Hill Window Tint is my go-to guy for tint. One of the best.

Can anyone confirm if they can open any of the doors while the vehicle is moving after all doors auto locked?

Never tried it although a couple months back on a wet evening with 3/4 throttle in 2nd gear, the car axle tramped so bad and the driver's door popped to the semi open (in between fully close and open) position, that scared me good!! All the doors were shut as it didn't show on the MFD and auto locked too. Never happened since.

Just to check, you are putting in the VAG stuff right? From memory with my MkII you had to use their stuff from the dealer or you ended up with issues. I have never had to buy any as mine lasts the whole year somehow, but I don't have Xenons.

I've long since forgotten what the issue is, but there used to be a problem with the Mk2s if you didn't use the official stuff. You would think straight water wouldn't clog them and they meant detergent mixes you buy anywhere.

Has anyone entertain the idea or actually attempted of putting 9.5 inch width rim at the back? Offset is customisable from +15 to +59

Seems like there's a lot of room inside the rear wheel arches.

Have a read on briskoda, but from memory, the rear can take a huge rim.

In my searching, I think 8.5" with ET35 was OK for rubbing front and rear, but I'm pretty sure the rear you could get away with 9.5" on a lower offset and still not rub unless it was ridiculously low.

Would anybody be in a position to recommend a place that can retro fit and program a reverse camera for me? Preferably the version which has the swivel lines.
I'm based in eastern suburbs of Sydney but can travel for the right place.

My car have the reverse sensors, but unfortunately no camera. I know i can source the parts online a bit cheaper, but I'm not in a position to fit it myself.

I've seen that RS from Finland with the ET35, more research needed . I did also see an mk2 RS with a whopping 10 inch at the back (BMW X5 wheels) , apparently with only minor modification...
