Number Plate LED Fault Code & Traffic Activation

you should be able to set the number plate lights to LED with VCDS, OBD11 can do it as well. I just can't find the adaptations for it.

Number plate LED adaptation (installed std NON canbus down-facing 501’s)

(1)-Leuchte25KZL HA59-Lasttyp 25 from 18 - 2* 5W to LED Lichtmodul

Also need to set this adaptation channel:

(6) Leuchte25KZL HA59 - Dimmwert AB 25 - set to 127

This will set the BCM up in the same way as if it is connected to OEM LED license plate lights. May or may not work for aftermarket units, but worth trying.
