No mention of local 4x4 option on MY16.5/17 Octavia RS?

Any predictions on what changes might be offered for MY16.5/17 RS models?

Active dampeners?
Rallye Green Metallic?
Blind spot monitoring?

Does anyone know how they manage to add 4x4 to the Scout and keep the same luggage volume?
Either estate list 588L, is there a void in the FWD cars where the rear diff. should be or just a bigger spare?
I've had a quick view of 4x4 Golf and Passat, both seem to have smaller rear cargo volumes then their FWD counterparts.
Happy to be told my observational skills are lacking...

You can already get auto boot on the wagon, my RS has it. Voice control is standard on the 8inch screen too (but the tech pack can be added to the 6.5 models).

Perhaps they're adding to leg wave auto open from the passat?

The 4x4 RS has the same engine as the Scout Premium so all you're getting is the Sport Trim and suspension. RS TDI isn't very popular here so I can see why they'd rather just sell the Scout TDI 4x4

Hmmmm. I've been told the only change from MY16 to MY16.5 would be tech pack becoming standard across RS range and overall price increase to being a little less than optioning it separately. No added features. Lane assist or blind spot monitoring like the Suberb would be nice but I don't see the viability for Volkswagen to easily add the extra hardware to the Octavia.

Orly? Thanks for the clarification, I have never looked at any other brochures. I will eagerly await to see what my 16.5 arrives with then.

I was told blind spot was only on Superb and Passat, other than the lights on the mirrors I think most of the same sensor hardware already is fitted to Octavias with tech pack.

According the configurator on the website the Lane Assist only comes with the Tech Pack on the Scout.. Pretty sure it wasn't on the one I drove.

The Scout i drove with Tech Pack had lane assist. the kids loved watching the car straighten itself when i let it wander between lanes.
