New Skoda specific subsections

I hope that people have noticed the new Skoda model specific sub sections on the forums. I'd request that this one now be renamed Skoda General or something like that.

I'm somewhat confused.

• The forum "Old Skoda Section" is viewable if you receive a thread update via email but there's no way of getting there from the main menu (that I can see).
• The mods have told us that there won't be a "Skoda General" section. Therefore it appears information of a "Skoda General" type is being dumped into the Yeti/Roomster sub-forum???
• Information on 2 new compact Skodas for 2012 is in the "big-car" Superb sub-forum (which I find ironic).
• etc,etc

I can understand the logic behind posting Skoda stuff in the VW general areas & technical in the appropriate technical sub-forum but I can envisage that it will be all lost among the much more prevalent Golf/Passat/etc posts.

I'm aware that it's a crap of a job being a mod & an even crappier task trying to reorganise sub-forums after you create new ones but looking at page1 of the Superb sub forum there are at least 7 threads there that would probably be more relevant in a Skoda General area as the answer is equally applicable to an Octavia/Roomster/Yeti. Same for the Octavia section - probably 6 threads there that are equally relevant to Superb (or any Skoda) as they are Octavia.

If, someone finds that there is a thread in the Skoda model section that would be better placed elsewhere, please let me know with the link to it and I'll check it out.

Unfortunately, some threads are relevant to more than just one model and I can't go back in time to change how the poster wrote it, and it would be silly to have the same (duplicated) threads/posts, especially when they're older. Take it is as a trade off between, having the one big section and models sections, at least for now. Give it some time and you will not see it.
