Thanx for the comments 99Reza. I didn't get around to driving a C250, but was looking around at used ones, a lot more luxury biased than the RS for sure.

You asked about which petrol to use?
    I ONLY ever use 98.
And I personally prefer BP. (And as an added bonus, you will match their colours!)

In Europe they have 102 Octane at many stations. So our 98 is what I would consider the least I would use. (maybe a few litres of 95 if it was desperate)
2018 Ralyee Green RS wagon. Fully optioned.
Previous vehicles:2015 Volvo V60 Polestar (my one detour from VW/Skoda!)
2013 Platin grey RS wagon / 2012 White Polo GTI / 2009 Black 125 Tiguan

I'll have to find a local servo that has it at a reasonable price.

In other news, our old Jetta is biting us back. Because we are selling it to my nephew, I said I'd get a full major service done inc DSG, we'll, I just got a bill for nearly $4K!!!! I'm only getting $5K for it!!!! Full, service, DSG service, two new tyres, new rear discs and pads, new sump (old one was badly dented)...can't remember what else, but...aaaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!!

    Congrats mate!

Great outcome and a fine decision on your purchase.

It truly ticks a lot of boxes when you factor in price, practicality and performance.

That green is an awesome colour, wait till you see the colour pop in the sunlight!

I can't wait to get it fitted. It'll have to be some time next week though. Off to GABS tomorrow!!

The wife asked what it was and what it did?? I replied, "you know those silly noises it makes in sport mode"? "this will make them REAL"!

the soundaktor in sport mode will completely overpower the resonator but will be more audible if you run individual and set it to eco.

I run 0% via OBD Eleven now and its much better.

I've been using the individual mode with everything set to sport except for sound. I'm hoping to get a little more real sound out of it, especially on down changes and overrun.

Remember to allow the resonator to settle, the tone will get deeper overtime.

Also, depending on how the setup on the exhaust pipe on the facelifted RS, it's worth getting a flange done for interchangeability purpose.

Mine was one solid pipe from resonator to back exhausts, had to cut some section of the pipe and flanges put in. I have seen a diagram for newer RS car where the exhaust system consisted of few different part joint by sleeve connector, no flange needed if this is the case, just weld some pipe to match the length of the OEM.
