Thought I'd share this nice pic of the Octavia RS III that I stumbled across.
Bare in mind this may just be a clever photoshop job, but regardless of whether it's real or not, It's still a nice image and gets me pumped for the new model... I wonder if the dealership will take my order yet?!

the blue looks accurate. matches a youtube clip posted showing one of these in a car carrier, amongst other mk3 octavias.
the wheels however look photoshoped.
the new rs will be available in australian dealerships from nov this year (2013), along with the wagon version of the new mk3, and the new scout.
ps: these r not my words....they r the words of a skoda dealership.

This image has been on the net for ages. It only became popular the other day because an Indian news blog posted it as the real thing... Clearly it's not an RS, but it's a decent photoshop effort I guess.
All Skoda RS models have a black roof lining (can also be seen in all the spy pics of the new RS if you look closely) but this model has the standard grey trim. This car also has the wheels from the current RS, standard seats from the base model Octavia (the new RS will have more shoulder bolstering on the sports seats and semi-integrated headrests), the trim pattern underneath the LED's doesn't match the lower air intake and finally this car is showing the rear spoiler from the current RS (the new car is expected to have a much lower profile rear spoiler).
(I'm referring to the photo of the Blue Skoda... Not sure about the white one...)

I was a little fooled too, but when you look at it, it's clearly a photoshop of a Octavia III with old RS wheels (why would they put old generation RS wheels on the new car?) and even an old RS spoiler. It's not different enough from the normal Octavia. Martin, was there ever doubt that Skoda would make another Octavia RS?

By the time the new vRS is due here, my car will probably be up around 120,000km...
Only another year after that and I'll be looking at a new one... Nice timing, Skoda AU!
