Got an update from the dealer on mine this week. Ordered it wk45, now scheduled for build mid Jan. He said their last boat only took 4 weeks... seems strange that the time on the water can be so variable but I guess I haven't a clue about what variables there are.. does it just depend what else is on the boat and where it's going?

4 weeks must be like an express boat!

Brisbane was the 10th stop for mine, and each stop was effectively 2 days - getting tugged into port, docking, then unloading, pilot ship back out. So more stops = more time. At 2 days a hit, mine took effectively 18 days extra over a direct ship. Actual shipping time was just over a month (about 5-6 weeks) so 4 weeks is easily do-able.

Skoda Aus has updated all their online brochures for the Octavia. RVC seems to be standard for all models now except Ambition.

Yep... On everything built from wk45 is what the dealer told me.. Someone else around here posted a scan of the page with the new kit back then (a lot more concise than trying to decipher all those dots in the brochure).

Mine was built week 48 and not yet on a boat. Don't forget the reality bus.
