i'm sitting at 220kW without a K04 turbo fitted. full exhaust + tune only to get there.

but yes.....its most likely fitted with a K04 from a warranty perspective.
that much power as "standard" from the factory is peace-of-mind.

How on earth are you controlling axle tramping with that much power going to the wheels?

Well calibrated right foot.

My missus reckons she can't drive my car without whel spinning. She just has a lousy technique - it's only 120kw atw.

I used to have access to a lot of high powered cars. First couple of throttle applications could be embarrassing but you just had to recalibrate the brain & the foot (toe) and most of them were very driveable off a standing start.

as brad pointed out - well calibrated right foot that knows "when".

i've mastered it that i hardly ever get axle tramp, even in the wet.
i can launch to a 100 from standstill in 6 secs flat without the need of an anti-lift kit, or dog-bone mounts or similar axle-tramp prevention gadgets. just my right foot combined with hand & butt feelings

I'm very very impressed then!!! Although after talking with Martin I think the Eibach's assist with reduction of axle tramping also. May I ask what tyres you're running and pressures please?
