New Octavia ....when? How Much?

I wonder how much the dealer would charge to buy the wheels on their own?!?!?!
I really love those wheels, and they'd go well with my yellow mellow.

As far as I can remember each wheel is about $450 without the tyre.

Registration of demos would explain the increase in October/November last year. The slight increase last month could be due to the small amount of Octavias landing in the country, as well as Rapid/Superb/Yeti being registered for press and demo purposes.

I'm glad some are happy with the figures but I reckon it's piss poor compared to where they could be.

It's unfair that VAG has not marketed the new Skoda line at all. It could also be due to the limited availability of cars from the factory. People don't want to wait 6 months for a new car, we as consumers must have it when we need it. However, it is encouraging to see the number of people turn up at the showroom when I was there.

If Skoda are to increase the sales they better advertise to the young family demographic. Most of the crowd at the dealerships were older folks.

Has anyone recently bought an ambition plus wagon?

I'm looking at a manual amb+ with a few options (Maxidot, BT, 18" rims, Front sensors, LED taillights) - car configurator says $29380 drive away.......based on whirlpool guys reckon 5-8% off....so would 27-28K be a realistic driveaway price? Im in qld.

If anyone has bought an amb+ wagon recently (even dsg) let me know what you paid if you can - even by PM......just want to get a ballpark on what people are paying. I'm happy to wait (well would prefer not to, but the other car I was looking at is also a 4 month wait, so back to the skoda) 4-5months.... around that 28K mark is really my limit.
