I guess it would depend on which engine you want.
I wonder if I could get away with no outgoing payment if I trade in my optioned up 155TSI with a wagon with TechPack and 19 Black![]()

I ve looked, but am waiting another few months. Once all the Hoo Haa dies down over the new model the $5K discount will be back for the asking. I see it this way , I don't need a new car, but at the end of June ,dealers will need to make sales to reach targets and there will be lots of registered, undriven "demos" at good prices. Drip feeding popular models on release seems to be a marketing tool these days.
2014 MY14 Corrida Red Elegance Wagon TDI
2009 MY10 Race Blue RS Wagon TSI 6 sp. manual. (Gone)
2011 MY12 Yeti 77 TSI DSG.
Sounds like a wise plan^^
Had a sticky at one of these yesterday - might think about converting from the VW Tiguan next time around (unless they bring out updated model on MQB platform). Seems to be best of both worlds - VW running gear, but Skoda price (not paying premium for the name). I like some of the features/inclusions that Skoda does too (like sports seats on the RS).....
2011 147TSi 7spd DSG Reflex Silver, 18" New York Alloys, Leather with MDI, ECB Nudge Bar, Viezu Tune (Work in Progress), Eibach ProKit Springs, SuperPro Poly ALK & Rear Trailing Arm Bushes, H&R 26mm Rear ASB and Whiteline HD Adjustable End-Links, VAR Design 3" Downpipe, Sprint Booster, Auto-Polar FIS+ Advanced Module, GTI Sports Pedals, Flappy Paddle Strg Wheel, LED fogs as DRL, chrome blingy bits
Yes I was
I like the bigger space of the wagon. When I got the Tiguan, I thought there'd be more room for me to move stuff around but it turned out to be smaller than I had imagined. Was quite a tight fit when I was moving back to Brisbane from Sydney with the entire Tiguan packed to the brim.
And I usually make short trips of about 10 minutes, sometimes more so I think the Diesel may not be suitable, from what I read.
And besides I always liked the GTI engine
