EA888 is 3rd gen. Has some fancy things happening up in the inlets & outlets. I also assume it has additional injectors in the inlet manifold to reduce inlet carbon fouling.
I'd love to know if some of the tech can be retrofitted to the Gen1 EA888.
Diesel has gone to water/air intercooler by the looks of it.

Yes i think thats their grotty old warehouse where they store the cars they cannot fit onto the yard/showroom. it just arrived today, so it needs to be pre-delivered and registered etc and will be on the yard for the weekend. I might go and take it for a spin.
EDIT - fixed pics (bigger now).

I only got to drive the DSG Petrol Liftback in hilly Hamilton where there is a tonne of traffic calming. It corners well and handles speed bumps without issue, bit of wheel spin when setting off at T intersections but still quite fast. One thing I missed was the sound of the engine, its very quiet in there without the sound generator (which I quite liked in my old Polo GTI). The progressive steering felt great and adjusted very well, the weight was nice considering there is no drive mode in these ones. Also happy to see it gets the quick release handle to make the seats fold down, real time saver.
I'm going to be test driving it again Saturday with friends, so I'll see if I can get on the highways with lighter traffic.
The steel grey looks interesting in person, and is hard to get right in photos. The race blue is really quite nice too though, its a tricky choice between the two!

MY12 Skoda Octavia RS 147 Black Combi - Sold
Based on those pics I'd have to go blue. The grey really needs the black pack treatment.
Awesome
