Um sorry, but if this is the case... I might have to HOLD OFF until the update. I rather buy cars that have a longer life regarding updates. My current Polo GTI made in 2011, sold as 2012 and still current shape. Though it has original wheels, not the black and silver ones... they haven't updated it much. The new updated model will be out in 2015, maybe even late 2015 in Aus, different bumpers and new interior plus a Turbo only engine... i'm not phased...
The Skoda Octavia had a few updates, but mainly the interior remember? Then not else.... The life cycle in a car is sort of important as i'm a car guy... so once I know a certain car is seen to get updates then i'll hold off. The Opel Insignia was at it's end when released in Aus... then when Opel pulled from the country Europe was launching the updated version!
Golf cycle is too quick, Mazda 3 has been good. Skoda even better...
