There you go. I can't recall ever seeing a red RS - Maybe that's why the dropped it? The metallic red would have done OK I think.

To be fair, VW's models are just as bland. Maybe the guys who decides is colour blind?

I've seen at least one red RS (wagon) on the road and Trivett had a red RS hatch in the yard when I bought my wagon.
Yes, new colour is pretty much from the same colour pallette, white through grey through black.
That said, I'm looking forward to seeing the 'Moon White'.

Two things disappoint me in these specs :
No manual TDI, anywhere in the Octavia range;
Bland colours. Two shades of grey, two shades of white but no bright colours - yellow, red or green.

What is difficult about allowing manual diesels or bright colours on special order? Looks like I'll be hanging to my manual Scout as long as I can and then look elsewhere.

I believe this has turned around.

The previous Octavia that was sold here, in red, in yellow - were the left overs from Europe.

We got the models not sold in Europe... Whilst now VW or Skoda are taking it seriously and offering a better range

That said, I'm looking forward to seeing the 'Moon White'.

Moon white is exactly the same as Audi's Glacier white if you wanna see what it looks like.

Interestingly, the RS on display at the Geneva Motor show has a flat bottom steering wheel, possible MY15 change?
