RS comes with AFS Xenons standard, dont think they actively bend though

My dealer gave me w bit more info:

Tech pack not available to order until week 22

Cars available from the 20th (that's when Skoda gold coast will have a couple anywho)

Two leather options - nappa/real leather available as option with Vienna/material as standard

current mk2 rs (if optioned) has active/dynamic bending xenons (known as afs 1).
Ireland & NZ had the afs 2 option. i.e. city, highway, rain modes for light beam/pattern.

odd comment about big brakes & unique space saver - anyone have a clue what he's talking about?


Skoda Octavia RS 2014 Review

He meant the space saver in the RS has to be 17" so theres room for the brakes when bolted on, it'd be the same for the Golf GTI though

I received that brochure from a service centre in regional NSW just this week, so I hope it is accurate...

Knowing how we in Aust often get a very "stripped down" range to choose from, I am not holding my breath that we will get every option to choose from...

There won't be the RS Sport button or sound amplifier in the dash for engine noise?!
