The Novated Lease company will only use their contracted finance provider.

This was the case the first time I had a Novated Lease, but last time (for my Skoda) the salary packaging company basically let you go with whoever. I'm hoping it's still the same.

That would be pretty good. Everything was locked in where I work. The "interest rate" on the loan would have made one of those payday lenders blush.

Just curious on people's thoughts is it worth waiting for the MY16 if you're not in a huge rush (few dealers have said they'll have them here around Aug/Sep)?

I've read so many different assumptions like the base ambition is gettin the upgraded Bolero MIB2 6.5 entertainment unit. If this is the case and assuming it comes with or can be updated to mirrorlink that makes the ambition with travel pack one hell of a deal.

Does anyone have any confirmation that mirrorlink will come with the Bolero MIB2 (standard/option/not at all)?

I got mine on a Novated Lease last year when Skoda were offering 2.8%. It ended up 4 years with 40% residual at 2.8%. Luckily my work allows me to use whoever I want.

I cancelled my MY15.5 to wait another 3 months to get it as I really wanted Mirrorlink given it's almost impossible to change the head unit due to the encryption

I'm buying my Octavia on a Novated Lease as well. They generally work out well for me, this will be my third (although the first on the higher FBT brackets).

Still, the figures I worked off still had a NL being beneficial.

Woohoo 2wglobal is saying my car will land in Melbourne Friday. Dealer reckons it'll take 2-3 weeks before I can pick it up. Does it usually take that long?

Unfortunately I've only got the MY15.5 model. Would have been great to get a MY16 model but not keen on waiting any longer.

I ordered my VRS in May. If MY16 models are hitting dealerships in August, then I'm hoping mine will be a MY16 considering it should be arriving in November. That being said, I'm still yet to get a build date..
