You can pre programme the auto tailgate in one of 3 positions with #2 being about 2/3rds of the fully up position. (P62 of the manual if you're looking online

Also have a look at the Skoda App on your iPad. Search for Skoda & download Skoda Interactive Catalogue & select Skoda Octavia RS or Skoda Octavia vehicle. It has lots of buttons to push; check different colours; change rims; simply clever videos etc. Good fun (especially while waiting for your car to arrive)

Hi Juniorgold, I have been using the same tracking site, madly refreshing every hour or so even though its only updated about four times a day. On another note I notice in your sig that you have 19"s, when did you order? After my first order was lost in the system my second order at the start of Nov I was told I could not get a car built with 19"s (direct from Skoda Aus) if I wanted it to be built before March or April. Hence the dealer is fitting 19's at delivery at their cost as it was part of my original order. Who is your delivering dealer? Mines Essendon.

After a long wait, my RS has been built and now loaded on the Asian King in Zeebrugge.. on it's way to Melbourne. According to the tracking site ETA is 14/04/2015.
I can hardly stand the wait.. I've been looking forward to this since Jul/Aug last year...

Raceblue wagon RS manual with Sunroof, 18"Black pack, tech pack and extra warranty. By working out my last Skoda price and being pretty lenient on the discounts figure about 44k. Will probably go back to Richmond Skoda, things are different there so do you think I can do better or worse?

I saw they pretty much give you 2 yrs warranty if you use their finance. I've got pretty good finance that I have used for a Hirepurchase via Bendigo bank the last 2 cars but if they are similar and give me the $1650 worth of warranty I would take them up. Anyone looked into their finance for a hirepurchase or chattel mortgage? I pay no fees, just the usual interest and if I pay out early they tend to waive any remaining interest component after the 2 yr mark in a 4yr term.

When I was buying the extended warranty with finance offer was only on models they were trying to shift so it wasn't on offer for the Octavia.

Yeah I recall that, at the moment it just generically mentions that you get the extra warranty if you take it up. Somethine I'll ask about closer to the time.

When I spoke to the dealer about extended warranty all they wanted to sell me was the 3 year $2000 option which had nothing to do with skoda, I think it was through lennock. They didnt know what I was talking about when I said 2 year for 1600. Anyway, I told them they were silly.
