I'm worried about delivery times. I'm due back sometime around the end of May/early June but if I wait till I'm home before putting in the order then it could be months away. And then have to juggle spending cash on a runabout and swap over.

Oh well, patience is a virtue (apparently, never noticed myself).

There was some talk in the press of an anniversary vRS + (Or something similarly named) with the Golf R running gear. That would be a winner I reckon and definitely of interest. Although the Aussie allocation would likely total 1 for promo and 2 for sales.

There are a number of reviews in the motoring press in November (google is your friend) very positive but with the proviso that the cost is unknown.

I was waiting for the Scout too but decided to pull the pin with new baby due in late Feb. Salesman iffy about April, but press seem to be thinking April.

I'm about to pick up a new Superb Ambition wagon at a good price - I just can't go past the size and value. I thought about an Elegance as they are loaded with kit, but I don't drive the VRS anymore - its become the family hauler, possibly a little bit selfish there.

Means I have a 2010 VRS DSG wagon up for sale next month if anyone is interested.

Interesing that AU will get a petrol option for the Scout but in the UK where the petrol was an option in the MK2 they appear to only have diesels available now.

Price seems hefty at GBP25k which is more than a vRS. Add all the options available in the UK & it comes to GBP38500!!! LOL

My unicorn has arrived... After a few confabulations, it was delivered right on the first estimate I was given (early-Dec) when I ordered (mid-June). So far, so awesome....
