Eco mode is great, have no idea if saving fuel but am happy with it and only use Sport/RS mode if eager to have a bit of fun!
Regarding glass, could be that... Perhaps I need to get my window tinting done sooner!

I just can't bring myself to do a whole trip in eco mode haha. Though if the Octavia was available in a model similar to the Golf GTE (hybrid with 1.4T) i probably would've seriously considered it.

If anyone else hasn't figured out the keyless entry and lock with KESSY:
Unlocking car is when you out your hand IN the handle area.
Locking you can somehow push/press with your finger, slide your finger or press your finger sideways over the small groove seen in picture below:

I believe you can run your leg on the handle too if you're hands are full.
Have been told it works through work pants, but I'd be testing that before trusting it. Kessy seems ideal if your in the car yourself, if it's a bunch of people, using the button on the remote seems better. I'll find out when my car turns up if I like it or not. I guess you can set it to open all doors if you like right?
