New Octavia ....when? How Much?

After discussions today looks like mine may be Candy White too. Still to be confirmed, can't remember if this one is already in a depot somewhere or "on the water, docking in the next few days".

Trusting that this is not dealer poetic licence and it all works out.

On water docking in the next few days would be the ship mine is on, the 'Carmen'. Says there is 25 on there...

Question. For those who tracked their ship. Track and trace is showing 'liner release' on mine, with a date of Friday. Does that mean the ship has docked already and unloaded? It still shows on the voyage details screen as due to arrive in Brisbane 12/11.......

Might be off the boat but has to go through customs and what not. Mine was listed as "linear release" 12/08, "discharged" 21/08 and "delivered" on the 25/08 with a ETA of 20/08. It wasn't until the 12th of Sept that I took delivery of it. Can't you track the vessel and see if its in port?

I goggled and it appears liner release is the vessel has booked it in for unloading. 'Discharged' is when it is physically unloaded. vessel not due till wed according to schedule, but it may be early, it was at a few ports. I can always hope anyway

Just to be sure, metal grey is a darkish metallic gun metal grey, not that 'battleship' grey.

I think it's one of the nicest colours.

that's a terrible grey. Looks flat/washed out.

Two things:

Driving the RS, very quiet and smooth ride (in Eco)... my old neighbour who I visited the other day was impressed. His brand new Mazda 3, the second model from the top - mentioned his ride is very loud. Tyre roar etc.

Octavia RS, compared to my 2012 Polo GTI - much much quieter!

Second thing is that I think the windows in the Octavia RS need to be a tad more padded... some noise coming from outside when closed - but otherwise the car is really good sound wise.
