Metal grey looks awesome. Very prestigious. Is go that over brown, purely because brown is a 'fashion' color and will date the car quickly. Also is a bit of an 'old bastard' color lol.

Can't comment on the Metal Grey or Topaz Brown as I haven't seen them. Did see a Cappuccino Elegance wagon and my brother and I both agreed that it looked great, understated and tasteful. But then we are both red green colour blind "old bastards" so that influences our preferences, haha.

Both of us thought the racing blue on a hatch was too bright and sporty looking for our tastes although I'm almost certain it would look better on the longer lines of a wagon.

We also saw a Platin Grey Suberb which we also thought looked excellent but Platin Grey is no longer available and is much lighter than Metal Grey. In other words, in our opinion light grey is fine but don't know about a darker grey.

Aesthetics aside I prefer the lighter metallic colours such as Brilliant Silver or Cappuccino as they don't show the dirt as much and are easier to match if touch up is necessary. Apparently that doesn't apply to Moon White metallic though.

I am in a similar position but my choice is limited to what is available. I will find out probably tomorrow.

I think the topaz brown looks nice than the lighter cappuccino, but as you said, color is all personal preference. Metal grey definitely has no green tint in it.

Tbh, all the colours are not offensive, but most euro cars are like that.

I really like the brown, Not a fan of the Grey, I think its a bit flat myself. I agree with GTR though you do run the risk of it going out of fashion and looking a bit dated when you go to sell it. But I think it looks awesome in brown, it just pulls it off.

Just to be sure, metal grey is a darkish metallic gun metal grey, not that 'battleship' grey.

I think it's one of the nicest colours.

Car looks great Matt. I especially like it with the Chrome Pack, makes a pleasant change from all the Black Pack RS models you see for sale online or on Briskoda. I think the chrome roof rails and door surrounds give the vehicle a classy finish and contrast nicely against the dark paint and black grill.

I will be getting race blue again, its worked well on our Sedan for years, its not too dark to show light dirt and not too light to show dark dirt. My mica black car beside it looks dirty in a week or so after washing when the Skoda can be weeks dirty and still looks fine.

I had trace blue on the last rs, and it was a fantastic color. Looked so nice when detailed. Tbh, I like all the colours none are really offensive. If we could get rally green, I would get an rs in that with black pack.
