No mine was on Asian King. The boat constantly dropped in and out of satellite range. You lose it as its going from South Africa to Fremantle and the tracking will be on and off around Australia too until it reaches your port.

Just think yourselves lucky, there was one boat which was delayed searching the Indian Ocean for an airliner.

I want to be in a new car in Jan, thats 5 months. Dec was for a wagon, im after a sedan, was quoted Aug 2015.
Ultimately I don't believe any of these times, given that its taking months for people to even get a build date, I have no trust in those delivery times. Ill just have to move on.

So I tried another octavia rs with the sports button this time, I like it. Last time I drove the octavia I gave it a hard time and didn't have a lot of time in it. This time I slowed it down, took it on the freeway, around the streets I usually drive on to get a reference to all the bumps etc. The skoda made me laugh again as it's a fun car, really like the dsg gearbox and power delivery. My ears kept trying to equalise, and after a while I began to feel nauseated. I opened the window all the way and this helped. It was like the cabin was pressurised....weird. Overall it's a great fun car, but not sure why it made me feel so odd, as I was fine soon as the window opened.

See Briskoda huge thread on booming cabin acoustics. Problem has not really been nailed down so far.

Gotta give the new RS at least 7500kms before you really floor it, specially on a track... So I'll hold off but might have a couple sprints for the lights but not too hard!

I'm thrilled seeing all these excited kids waiting for their toys! Can't wait to read all your reviews.

The cabin 'Boom' seems to be something that is widely reported in the UK and German forums with different people recommending multiple solutions with varying levels of success. I remember that I didn't notice this at all when I test drove a DSG hatch. Will be interesting to see how this pans out here.
    Walking Contradiction...

Have my Octavia for a week now, whilst there was a pressure build up in the 103 TSI elegance wagon that I test drove, my ambition plus wagon is quiet with no boom or pressure build up at all.
