Yep. I first saw it on the mk7 GTI section on vwvortex. A3s with the same engine are also part of the recall.

Apparently, these are the turbo part numbers that fail from the factory:
06K 145 702 K - Revision 1
06K 145 702 Q - Revision 2
06K 145 702 R - Revision 3
New turbo part number to fix failures:
06K 145 702 T - Revision 4

Nothing yet mate. I was told I will receive a call today after they complete their investigation, so waiting it out.
Also, received a call from the dealer late yesterday assuring they are doing everything they can to find a car similar in spec to mine in the country and that Skoda AUS is on the case. I guess there will be a resolution in a day or two. Will update as I get more information.

Just picked up a Wagon Octavia Ambition 103TSI race blue 7spd DSG, travel pack and bits and pieces. I like. The little banger is torquey enough to be zippy enough for the daily commute and just enough legs that long trips you dont have to plan overtaking 3 days ahead.
Around 4 months waiting all up.
To do/wish list
Might get a subwoofer, some tinting and wheels and slight lowering if it doesnt compromise the ride. Damn Im getting old...

^^ My Dealer reckoned without tech pack or sunroof 4 months is about right...... (he has ordered cars after mine, and they have a build date - and extrapolated delivery for around that 4 month mark).
So if you want it in 4 months, Dont order tech pack or sunroof!
