New Octavia ....when? How Much?

I saw one today on the back of a truck, still with the dust wraps on, but with a sticker on the side "New Octavia". I assume it was on its way to the local dealer for use as a demo.

It'll only have 7 airbags like the ambition/ambition plus, so it could be based on that spec and not the elegance. I'm hoping that it still has the columbus though.

Just noted that it says panoramic sunroof only on the wagon.....I thought there was a sedan version?

It's not a case of better. It's what you need.

I came within a beezdik of buying a vRS back in 2008 then realised that a 1.8tsi 118kw/250nm would do my commute just as well. It has been remapped +35kw / +98Nm according to the marketing but I'd guess it's more like +20kw / +70Nm. it's a nice torquey drive but you can't beat cubic inches.

Just an electronic LSD, ala the one you see in the Golf 7 GTI. The RS looks amazing but it's not dramatically faster than the 132tsi.

Still, i'm probably going to get an RS in Moon Grey

LOoks like the vRS in the UK is based on what we get as the Ambition Plus + extra equipment.
Looks like everything is optional there
