Anyone know if the new RS has drawers under the front seats?

According to the brochure there is a storage box under the passenger seat. I must admit that i didn't look for one when I had a peek at the RS.

Driver's side definitely has one, but its not a actual drawer, its just has a flip down face.

Yeah I didn't look. I'm surprised the driver side has one, its normally just the passenger in Oz fitted ones as they leave the drivers seat for other options.

Maybe this is why Rallye Green isn't available on the RS in Aus?

On the heated seats topic, we loved them in our RS. They warmed up much faster than the heating system, and my wife also like the heated seat even on warmer days to help ease pain in her shoulder.

I've warned her that the next car might not have it, and she's not happy. Luckily, she loved the old Octavia nearly as much as I did so (fingers crossed) it's not a deal breaker.

We picked up our manual Ambition wagon last week after an agonising six month wait. Pretty happy with it. Took it for a run down to a mates farm yesterday and got 4.8l/100 round trip. The car is stupendously good value.

A few anomolies though - there seems to have been a stop/start button installed at the factory. It does nothing of course, it's just odd. Sort of makes you question the QC at the factory.

Rage moment: Plug in my iPhone 5 to the USB and it doesn't charge like the old MDI setup did, let alone connect. **** me dead VAG just cannot design a media system to save themselves. Most popular car manufacturer in the world designs a system that can't talk to the most popular mobile OS.

High point: Buying from the Newcastle dealer - great experience. The passion they display is rare.

Good to hear you got your car. Android is more popular than iOS and has been for a while. But still it should work with iOS. I never tried any phone functionality with the demo car..... I ordered an ambition+ with Canton (in tech pack). Here's hoping BT works properly. Sucks that it won't charge. I've been looking at car holders that have a qi charge mat built in so no cables..... Seeing people collect the car makes me want mine even more. Have a huge list of stuff at superskoda to order.... Just on the off chance does anyone know order times to Australia? Any town driving in those figures?
