Seems the metal grey is similar to carbon steel grey on the GTI, though it doesn't show the black pack off well enough for me, hence the candy white order.

Anyone got any extra info on build times from their dealers? Week22 is on its way, it'll be nice to know whether or not our orders actually get built that week.

My dealer reckons 3-4 months from order for non rs, around 6 months for rs models. Seems to be about right now according to briskoda. It was 5-6 months for amb, amb+ and elegance but those times seem to have come down a bit and production rates are up

Nope, asked mine yesterday. He assured me my car will be a my15 build and that they don't have any information on spec changes for Australia yet.

I'm sticking with the Metallic Grey color for my RS. Girlfriend likes it, dealer says it different and unique. I like the white but happy with the Grey. I can't wait for my RS!!!

Metallic Grey is like I mentioned more of a Greeny/Gray color and not the normal dark grey.

Thanks. I remember reading it was dropped from the list of Tech Pack options but didn't read about week 42.

Do you know if it is RVC (static lines) or RVC+ (with dynamic lines when you move the steering wheel)

Sorry I have no idea... Check the UK website? I can ask my dealer but most things I've told my dealer about that car ie if it rains on the car and you've left windows and sunroof open, they all close. Told them to test it with a glass of water and the windscreen rain sensor to test out they were surprized! A revolution! Asked if I could work at the dealership :p
