I finally got another chance to try. Took photos and looked at the recent issues of rednut. Well All my pictured match his. including the system software. I have not tried to do firmware updates. I saw no problems to try.
- my P90 software is on a Ultraplus 130mb/s 10 spec. in the root directory as all have said
Mine is the same. I can confirm that the nav system is via the harddisk in the car. No extra sd acrd required. ( my polo does run the sd card and won't work without it)
Rednut - have you solved? Anyone else ideas??

If you adjust your settings to get "New Posts instantly by email" you would have picked it up
Its not for Amundsen units though

Yes and once again is for MIB2 units ONLY Is a full map of 26GB I downloaded it 2 days ago to check what it was. Yes the files are named MiB 3 but................
Will not work on MIB3 as in later models which only UPDATE and not replace the map and the file is only 2 GB and not available either on Skoda or VW portals yet

Did ur map update work?
Mine clonks out with an error when it hits 12%.

Yes. I got an error at 12% the first time. Restarted the update process and the second time was successful.

Really wish my 2015 could still get map updates. I actually prefer the built in nav to something like Waze on my phone, but most of my area doesnt exist on the latest (2020) update.
Oh well, that's life.
