I really love how Skoda have done their latest design cover-ups (the Rapid/this new Octavia). They're 'simply clever' (sorry) in adding old generation details. I just hope that the final product does end up looking different enough...

I reckon they are just testing Muels, with a mixture of all models thrown in while they test the running gear.
I wouldnt put too much faith in the appearance being close to the finished product....
