HID's!... Man, what a tale that turned out to be.
Apparently you have to enable HID's with VCDS. Of course, I didn't have access to VCDS, and coming out of Kia (with a more basic, less computery electrical system) I figured "what the hell" and went along with it anyway.
Bad move, of course.
She blew a Body Control Module. And then another, and then another...
The third one turned out to work perfectly!

The 3rd Body Control Module died - HID's again! *eventually* replaced under warranty... But then the new one (4th) wouldn't talk to the computers at the dealership, so they couldn't code my keys! I had to operate the locks with the key itself, like a heathen!
The dealership replaced the 4th BCM with a 5th one, everything has been working perfectly since.

Mounted a double 12v power point and had it wired. Basically hardwired the Galaxy Tab mounting off of it. All the cabling is hidden behind the panel on the end of the dash.
