That's what they sign up for.
They know they'll lose out on some services, but gain on others.
Had exactly the same problem with my MY14 Ambition Plus. I even showed them a printout from the website saying what the price should be but they insisted that it was some kind of mistake. After they looked it up on the website and found out I was correct they started going on about it being "below cost price" i.e. we aren't going to make any money out of it. Too bad. They eventually caved in but what a battle. Going to get a quote next time.

I had very similar experiences with both annual services to date from the Adelaide dealer.
I posted up warnings to others at the time to print off a copy of the service capped pricing to take with you in case they tried to charge too much.
2015 - Mk3 103tsi - Almost 1 year on and first service due
2016 - Warning - check the dealers pricing for your annual service
Try this for a MY13 Kluger. Just had its last $179 fixed service given she is 3yrs old. Now, time to be 'painful'

From memory, Toyota's scheme sees the dealers subsidised by Toyota Motor Company Australia, and the difference is then built into the price of the car.
Swings and round-abouts.
Also worth noting that in the case of the Kluger above, they're charging almost $600 to do the spark plugs...
