Good stuff. I find I'm rotating the mirror up and down a couple times a day. I hope the motors are built for that

Almost a year on, thought I'd run an update. Been too bloody busy with work obviously. The last time I updated this thread I had just started my bike repair business. It has taken off massively and I've been fighting for time to give the car some love. Most of what I do with it is drive, and make small changes to where and how I store gear. Been getting to a lot of events, and a lot of clients, but I have made a couple of small mods.

I'll show you some interesting shots of what I do, some cool photos I took, and a bit around/inside the car.

If you want to see more of whats going on in the business the URL has changed, here it is: www.therapidwrench.melbourne

Firstly, I got a nice badge-less grill from Mysticality. Nice one thanks mate.

You'll by now also notice the fresh graphics! They got done last January!

Lets go inside. I made a custom fitted shelf to hold parts. The lowers of the seats are gone.

Another mod, heres a place to keep about 50 chains in the rear right corner. From the outside its completely blacked out, and theres a LED light on the inside. JDM panel fittings ftw.

In the back. Notice I used the little holder thing on the right to hold one of my bigger bike tools. Handy. The toolbox only just fits in, I had to kick it with a lot of force then bolt it in. The sub is still in the spare tire and well fark, that **** will take ages to get out if I ever need it. Theres plenty of gear in between that and the seat backs.

The Bi-folding table goes on top, again attached with JDN panel fittings and hooks installed to the tool box. It covers everything from eyes when parked.

Carrying lots of ****, some camp gear and some event stands. Even got a custom made promo bike!

Erk - what exactly failed in the engine?

It's always a worry having blue coming out of a turbo - easy to kill the turbo blades

My Octavia has an APR tune and does blow blue
-after long periods of constant low throttle
-after going down a hill with a closed throttle
When I open the throttle after these events I get a healthy display of blue
My Octavia has always swallowed a lot of oil every month, at least 1.5 litres

The blue and oil consumption has been completely solved by adding 250ml of Liqui Molly Visco Stabil Plus

LIQUI MOLY - Motor Oils, Additives, Car Care - Products - Pro-Line Visco-Plus

APR Stage II ECU - APR 3" exhaust down pipe & high flow catalyst
APR/HP Roll bars - Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks
