heh, sorry should have been clearer... 22.5cc per cylinder, comes from 90cc total (the difference between the 2.0l tdi and the 1.9 is 90cc - 1986-1896).
Anyway, 90cc of STEEL weighs about 200g.... so basically all i was saying is that if you bored out a 1.9 block to 2.0l (to the exact size they are from VW) the 2.0L block would only be about 200grams lighter.
